C.C.C. Oil Building
The Civilian Conservation Corp was a program to provide training and work for thousands of unemployed young men during the Great Depression in the 1930s. There were several CCC camps in Pend Oreille County where the men constructed roads, built bridges, airports and fought fires.
This building is from the Sullivan Lake C.C.C. camp and was used to store oil for vehicles.
